Anxiety, Stress, and Burnout
Anxiety and stress can build up quietly until they begin to dominate daily life — causing sleepless nights, racing thoughts, tension, or even physical symptoms like headaches or fatigue. You might feel like you’re constantly on alert, unable to switch off or relax.

In therapy, we’ll explore the roots of your anxiety — perhaps linked to work pressure, perfectionism, relationships, or unresolved past experiences. I will help you recognise patterns that keep you stuck in stress cycles and support you in developing healthier coping strategies.
Together, we’ll focus on calming your nervous system, setting boundaries, and rediscovering moments of peace and clarity so you can feel more grounded and in control of your life.

Depression and Low Mood
Depression can make the world feel grey and heavy, often bringing feelings of emptiness, isolation, or loss of motivation. You may feel disconnected from yourself or others, as if the things that once mattered no longer bring joy.

Therapy provides a safe space to talk honestly about your thoughts and feelings — even the ones that are hardest to express. We’ll explore possible causes, from life events and stress to deeper emotional patterns that have built up over time.
Through compassionate understanding and gentle exploration, therapy can help you begin to reconnect with your emotions, restore hope, and find renewed meaning and purpose in life. You don’t have to face this alone — together, we can begin the process of healing.
Relationship or Family Difficulties
Relationships can bring us comfort, love, and support — but when things go wrong, they can also cause deep emotional pain. You might be struggling with frequent arguments, communication breakdowns, or patterns that seem to repeat no matter how hard you try. Family tensions or past relational wounds can also influence how we connect with others.

In our sessions, we’ll look at what’s happening beneath the surface — how you express your needs, set boundaries, or react to conflict. I can help you understand relationship patterns and develop new ways of communicating that promote understanding and closeness. Whether you’re dealing with family issues, romantic challenges, or difficulties at work, therapy offers a chance to rebuild trust and create healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Grief, Loss, and Life Transitions
Loss can take many forms — the death of someone close, the end of a relationship, or a major change in your life such as moving home, changing careers, or retirement. Even positive transitions can bring confusion or sadness as we let go of what once was.

Grief has no fixed timeline, and it often comes in waves — sometimes unexpectedly. Therapy provides a safe, compassionate space to express your feelings freely, without judgment or pressure to “move on.” We’ll work together to process your emotions, make sense of what has changed, and find a way to carry your memories and experiences with tenderness. Over time, therapy can help you rebuild strength, find acceptance, and open to new beginnings while honouring what you have lost.
Low Self-Esteem and Self-Worth
Low self-esteem can affect how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the opportunities we believe we deserve. You might find yourself being overly critical, comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you’re never “enough.”

Therapy can help uncover where these beliefs began — often rooted in early life experiences, criticism, or unmet emotional needs. Together, we’ll work to challenge these internal narratives and replace them with compassion and understanding. As you begin to see yourself more clearly and kindly, you’ll develop greater confidence and a stronger sense of self-worth. The goal is to build a foundation of self-acceptance so you can live more freely and authentically.

Personal Growth and Self-Understanding
Therapy is not only for times of difficulty — it’s also a valuable space for growth, reflection, and discovery. You may be feeling generally fine but curious about yourself — wondering why you repeat certain patterns, or wanting to live with greater purpose and authenticity.

Through open conversation and exploration, therapy can help you understand your emotions, values, and motivations more deeply. It offers the chance to connect with your inner self, improve emotional awareness, and create a clearer sense of direction in life. Many people find that personal growth work leads to greater confidence, improved relationships, and a deeper sense of fulfilment.
Sessions are available Monday to Wednesday, 10:00–18:30 (UK).
I also offer a free 15-minute telephone consultation to help us decide if working together feels right for you.
